MEET BRIAN & RUBY

Hey there, friends!

Welcome to OpenRoadNomad.com! I’m Brian, and I’m on this wild journey with my furry sidekick, Ruby, my lovable Golden Retriever. Together, we hit the road in our 2015 Ram ProMaster, which I affectionately call Georgia - named after my mother.

When it’s time to explore, Georgia is super nimble and much rather fuel-efficient, making it perfect for all kinds of escapades—whether we’re cruising on the highway or tackling some off-pavement roads. It’s my little home on wheels as we roam around the USA!

I’m a full-time traveler, working remotely on OpenRoadNomad.com while soaking up all the beauty around me. Additionally, I run a marketing and brand management business, and I also do stock photography (Adobe Stock, Shutterstock), capturing the amazing sights we encounter.

Like many explorers out there, I draw inspiration from fellow travelers, but I always make sure to carve my own path.

Before my most recent adventures in the van, I used to roll around in a budget-friendly overlander named Jack Burban—a 2009 Chevrolet Suburban 4x4. But Jack has since been retired, making way for my new adventure buddy, Georgia!
