Weekend Project: Tackling Rust Removal in the Cargo Area
This weekend, I dedicated some time to addressing rust issues in the cargo area of our van. Thankfully, it’s all surface rust, which is a relief. However, I’m facing a bit of a challenge with the rust in the side door slider channel. If anyone has suggestions on how to effectively reach and treat that area, I’d love to hear your tips!
For the thicker rust spots, I plan to use some Rustoleum products to seal them properly.
Sunday was a productive day! I cleaned, sanded, and cleaned again to ensure a solid foundation. Now, I’m focused on sealing the rust before moving on to the installation of the subfloor. It’s all part of the journey to get our van ready for adventures ahead!
