A Winter Wonderland in Klamath Basin

December 1, 2023, marked the arrival of the first significant snowfall of the season in the Klamath Basin. This storm is just the beginning, as a series of atmospheric river systems are set to impact the Pacific Northwest. Weather forecasts suggest that the higher elevations of the Cascades could receive three feet or more of fresh snow before this weather system concludes.

On this snowy day, I took a moment to capture the beauty of Downtown Klamath Falls, transformed into a winter wonderland. The serene landscape and fresh blanket of snow remind us of the magic that winter brings to our surroundings. Here’s to embracing the season and all the adventures it has in store!
